Comfort Foods
I have some lovely new recipes to post including some vegan kofte, a vegetable hotpot, a cheesy topped pie and a few others, but the lack of good daylight means my photos leave a lot to be desired! So, today we will take a look back at some previous recipes. As the weather in the UK is still cold (it is currently 3c / 37f) here are some comforting and filling recipes perfect for much needed warming dinners. I have included the links for each recipe which will take you straight to that post.
Let’s start with a lovely hearty stew with soft fluffy dumplings.
If you’d rather something a bit spicier. why not try a slow cooker chilli made with lentils.
Prefer something a bit smokier rather than with chilli? Love using chickpeas in your recipes? Try this smoky lentil and bean casserole.
If you’re after something that you can throw together and leave to cook, try this flavoursome casserole, full of Moroccan flavours.
Or, have a go making this luscious lentil and mushroom bolognese.
What do I need?
Please click through on each recipe and see what is required. For general items if you are new to cooking or your kitchen needs a refresh, here are a few useful things for most recipes. I receive a small commission if you click and purchase through these links (this is at no additional cost to you)!
