New Month, New Year, New recipes.

Happy New Year!

Every January, we find ourselves wondering ‘what happened to the last year’? We reflect on our plans, celebrate our successes, and set new targets and goals. A new year and a new start may make sense, but what if instead of starting over, we simply carried on? What if we view the new year as a continuation of the journey we’re already on? Would we feel less pressure? Less stress? Would we realise that we’re actually doing okay?

Think about it: how many times have you made a long list of ‘resolutions’ to ‘start tomorrow,’ only to change them a week later? Maybe this year, it’s time to approach things differently.

Yesterday, Tomorrow & Today!

Yesterday is over! As much as we might wish otherwise, changing what happened yesterday is near impossible unless you’ve got a time machine (and if you do, please share!).

Tomorrow is… well, drop me a note below if you ever catch up to it! Sure, you might argue it’s tomorrow if you’re awake past midnight and your sleep routine is chaotic, but generally, tomorrow is always just out of reach. It’s uncertain, unpredictable, and tricky to plan for.

However, today… well, here we are! You’re reading this ‘today’, and the choices you make now are entirely up to you!

Today!

Today is where everything happens. It’s where you can make decisions, take action, and create change -big or small. Think about it: no matter what your goals are, they don’t start yesterday or tomorrow, they start today.

Maybe today is the day you try something new. Or perhaps it’s the day you revisit something you’ve been putting off. It doesn’t have to be perfect, and it doesn’t have to be huge, just a small step is enough. Those little steps you take today? They’ll add up to something amazing before you know it.

Yes, some days might feel messy or unproductive, and that’s okay too. Today doesn’t have to be about ticking everything off a to-do list, it can be about slowing down, recharging, or simply enjoying the moment. Whatever you choose to do, remember: today is yours. Make it count!
