A quick and simple but very tasty recipe for baked beans
Grab a medium sized saucepan and empty the whole tin of beans with all the liquid into it. Add a bit of cold water to the tin, swish it about to grab any rogue beans and liquid, then add that to the pan too (about 1/4 of the tin full). Put the heat on medium.
Add the tomato puree to the beans and mix through evenly. Heat until just started to boil, then reduce the heat and add the black pepper.
Allow the liquid to reduce (3-5 minutes) until you have your desired consistency, do a quick taste test and add salt if necessary.
