Five Minute Flat Bread

Today is one of those waiting days! Waiting to see how one of best friends gets on! 🙂 Do you know how long each minute appears to be when you’re waiting! I keep looking at the clock but the time is never more than a minute since I last looked! I only have to wait another hour or so now! 🙂 Maybe I should go and bake something whilst I’m waiting! Maybe, I should go and make some more of this bread to stockpile in the fridge… because we’ve finished the last two lots already! Maybe I should think about tomorrow, Valentines Day 😛 as I’ve not really given the actual day much thought yet aside from experimenting with my Valentines menu! 🙂 Maybe I should sort out my list of ‘things to do’ which is on my desk?! What do you do when you’re waiting to find the result of something? Gather

Prepare

  1. This is so quick and easy! Put the millet in a bowl, add the salt. Pour in the bowling water (you can add half a teaspoon of coconut oil to the water at this stage if you wish but its not really necessary) and stir with a spoon to combine.
  2. Add the sesame seeds (if using), mix in well and gather together.
  3. Divide into four and roll a piece into a ball. Flatten in your palm until half a cm thick (or less if you can).
  4. Heat a small amount of coconut oil in a pan and add the flatbread. Cook for a minute on one side and flip over. Press down on the bread with a spatula and let cook on the other side. Cook until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with the remaining pieces.
  5. This can be eaten immediately or this can be popped in the toaster (or under the grill) when required.
  6. Enjoy!
